Xiao-Yong Zhang is currently a Professor at the School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has previously conducted research at Emory University, Vanderbilt University, Fudan University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. His research focuses on magnetic resonance imaging methods and artificial intelligence algorithm development, with several original contributions in magnetic resonance metabolic imaging and intelligent diagnosis and treatment. He has led one key project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), three general NSFC projects, and several provincial and ministerial-level projects, including the Shanghai "Explorer Program." He has published over 70 academic papers, with representative results published in journals such as Medical Image Analysis, IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, and Advanced Science. He serves as executive committee members or regular members of several national first-class societies, including the Chinese Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics and the China Society of Image and Graphics, and also serves as editorial board members for journals such as Phenomics.
