Muhammad Hameed Siddiqi received the bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in computer science from Islamia College (Chartered University) Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, in 2007, and the master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the Ubiquitous Computing (UC) Laboratory, Department of Computer Engineering, Kyung Hee University, Suwon, South Korea, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. From 2008 to 2009, he was a Graduate Assistant with Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. From March 2016 to August 2016, he was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sungkyunkwan University, Suwon, South Korea. From September 2016 to October 2020, he was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Jouf University, Sakaka, Saudi Arabia, where he has been an Associate Professor, since November 2020. He has published more than 90 research articles in highly reputable international journals and conferences. His research interests include image processing, pattern recognition, deep learning, machine intelligence, activity recognition, and facial expression recognition. He is a reviewer of different journals and conferences.
