Bio
We study the link between clinical phenotype and biology underlying bipolar and depressive disorders. Through the study of biological factors that correlate with clinical phenotype and outcome, we aim to identify markers of illness that inform course of illness and treatment response. Using the tools of translational research, we are currently studying the relationship between mood, cognition and decision-making, sleep phenotypes and inflammation, mitochondrial function, and stress hormones.
