Zhengwei Yang

Zhengwei Yang (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Shanghai University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, China, in 1982, the M.S. degree in systems engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, in 1985, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA, USA, in 1997. He is a Geographer with the Research and Development Division, National Agricultural Statistics Service, since 2005. He has published over 90 papers. His research interests include AI/machine learning, remote sensing methods, and GIS technology and their application in agriculture. His work spans conceptual, theoretical, and application research as well as system development.
