Zsanett Tarnok

Dr. Zsanett Tarnok, PhD Director of Vadaskert Foundation for the Mental Health of Children Leader of Tourette Program Vadaskert Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Dr. Zsanett Tarnok is a clinical psychologist, neuropsychologist, and research fellow working in Budapest, Hungary at Vadaskert Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic. She is the Director of Vadaskert Foundation for the Mental Health of Children. She is one of the founder and leader of Tic Disorder Clinic in Vadaskert which is the first and only specific centre in the country in diagnosing and treating tic disorders. She personally has seen more than 1000 patients suffering from Tourette syndrome in the past 16 years. She was one of the members and coordinators of COST (European Cooperation in the field of Scientific and Technical Research ) Action BM0905 (“European Network for the Study of Gilles de la Tourette Syndrome”), and personal investigator in an EU founded FP7 programme, EMTICS (European Multicentre Tics in Children Studies). She was the Secretary of ESSTS (European Society for the Study of Tourette Syndrome) between 2014-2017. She is a teacher and lecturer at Semmelweis Medical University in Clinical Psychology, has numerous Hungarian and peer reviewed publications in developmental psychology.
