Yuanjian Zhang (Member, IEEE) received the M.S. degree in automotive engineering from Coventry University, Coventry, U.K., in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in automotive engineering from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2018. In 2018, he joined the University of Surrey, Guildford, U.K., as a Research Fellow in advanced vehicle control. From 2019 to 2021, he was with Sir William Wright Technology Centre, Queen's University, Belfast, U.K. He is currently a Lecturer with the Department of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering, Loughborough University, Loughborough, U.K. He has authored several books and more than 50 peer-reviewed journal papers and conference proceedings. His research interests include advanced control on electric vehicle powertrains, vehicle-environment-driver cooperative control, vehicle dynamic control, and intelligent control for driving assist system.
