My research is focused on microbe-host interactions and understanding how gut commensal bacteria and associated metabolites, particularly short-chain fatty acids and vitamins, are involved in the regulation of intestinal microbial, epithelial, and immune homeostasis protecting against intestinal pathogenic inflammation.
