My research areas lie in vault nanoparticles packaged enzymes in biodegradation and detoxification, focusing on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) and other emerging contaminants. I am also interested in mycoremediation and fungal enzymatic bioremediation. Moreover, I am also studying protein engineering, molecular engineering, environmental microbial communities, and metabolic transformation flux during the biodegradation process.
