Dr. Yenni Tim is a practice-driven researcher specialising in Digital Resilience – the capacity of individuals, organisations and society to make effective use of digital technology to prevent, anticipate, absorb and adapt to major challenges, and to continuously evolve and transform in a productive and sustainable manner.

In her research, Yenni works with colleagues from various disciplines, industry practitioners and communities around the world to understand and build digital resilience to major technological, organisational and societal disruptions. Using qualitative and action design methodologies, Yenni’s research dives deep into the various facets of Digital Resilience – including the design and use of technology for pandemic and disaster response, the building of cyber resilience amidst persistent security threats, the development of data-inspired models and strategies for enterprise resilience, and the digital leapfrogging of resilient communities from poverty and exclusion to agency and empowerment.
