I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering & Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia. My research interests are water and soil remediation using physical and chemical treatment methods. Currently, I am working on the removal of heavy metals from water using ionic liquid membrane and rotating packed bed adsorption. Besides that, I am also working on the remediation of heavy metal contaminated soil using various electrokinetic processes, including electrokinetic washing and approaching electrode assisted electrokinetic process
