Xiao Yu Li

Xiao-Yu Li (M'00) was born in Shanghai, China, on November 12, 1964. He received the B.S. degree in theoretical physics from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 1987 and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), in 1995. His Ph.D. research topic is a comprehensive study of process induced damage in deep submicron device. In 1995, he joined the Programmable Logic Technology Department, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Sunnyvale, CA, working on EEPROM cell design and process integration. In October 1999, he joined Xilinx, Inc., San Jose, CA, where he is a Senior Manager of Yield Engineering in the Product Technology Division. He has dozens of papers and many patents in semiconductor process, device, memory cell design, and product engineering areas.
