He initiated a cooperative development agreements with a number of companies of seed industry, with the total contract amount above 4000000 yuan.

Through his efforts, Chunyou 58, Chunyou 84 and more than 10 new rice cultivars were registered,3 of them were awarded as national variety. 12 japonica CMS lines were being identified. A national patent was gained,and another national patent was declared. 6 items of right of the new plant variety was gained,and more than 10 items of right of the new plant variety was declared.8 appraisal results and 6 award achievements were gained. He has more than 50 scientific publications.
