Wolfram Witte

Wolfram Witte is a senior scientist at ZSW (Germany) and he gained a diploma degree from the University of Freiburg (Germany) in 2003 and in 2010 he earned his doctoral degree in materials science from the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany). He has more than 15 years of experience in thin-film growth, interface design, thin-film analytics, and device characterization. Currently his focus is on high-efficiency CIGS thin-film solar cells and CIGS/buffer interface design. He is the coordinator of the national project EFFCIS-II (BMWi) with 7 partners and he coordinated the EU H2020 project Sharc25 with 10 partners, the national project EFFCIS (BMWi) with 9 partners, and the national project GRACIS (BMBF) with 10 partners. Doctor Witte has published over 40 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and he has given 14 invited talks at institutes/workshops/conferences. In addition, he has organized two national industry workshops with 50 and 80 participants and an European workshop with 70 participants.
