I have a broad background in comparative physiology that is currently focused on physiological appraisal of life-history theory. This research uses an integrative approach that combines several fields: physics to quantify the physical environment of animals, physiological assessment (metabolic assessment, endocrinology, immunology, and biochemistry) and ecology to place these into an evolutionary context.
