Chen Wen-yun, associate professor on botany of Kunming Institute of Botany, CAS. Major research interests include 1) Spatial distribution of leaf physiognomy characters in China and their relationship with climate; 2) The pattern of woody dicotyledon richness in China; 3) Population rebuilding and prediction of the seriously threatened species of Quercus; 4) Ethnobotanical study on the Eastern Himalayas;5) Establishment of the database of seed plants in Yunnan and a digital Herbarium.
