Wei Duan

Wei Duan graduated from a medical school in Shanghai, China, and received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Melbourne, Parkville, Australia, in 1991. He taught medicine and engaged in the research into molecular cell biology and novel therapeutics of cancer at the National University of Singapore. He is currently a Professor with Deakin Medical School, Waurn Ponds, Australia, where he heads a nanomedicine program to develop cancer-targeting aptamers and nanoparticles for cancer molecular imaging and targeted drug delivery.
