Vladislav Mokhov

Vladislav N. Mokhov received the degree from the Theoretical Nuclear Physics Department, Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, Moscow, Russia, in 1955, and the Candidate of Science and Doctor of Science degrees from the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Physics (VNIIEF), Sarov, Russia, in 1963 and 1968, respectively. Since 1955, he has been with the Russian Federal Nuclear Center, VNIIEF, where he became a Professor in 1980 and he is currently a Deputy Scientific Leader. He has made scientific contributions in the areas of clean thermonuclear explosives for industrial applications, hydrodynamic instabilities and turbulence, energy cumulation, and controlled thermonuclear fusion, including magnetic compression (MAGO).
