Vittoria Bruni

Vittoria Bruni received the degree in mathematics and the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from the University of Rome La Sapienza, Rome, Italy, in 2001 and 2006, respectively. Since 2010, she has been a Researcher with the Department of SBAI—Faculty of Engineering, University of Rome La Sapienza. Her current research interests include image compression, denoising, restoration and quality assessment, wavelets theory and applications, numerical analysis, and pattern recognition. She has co-authored several scientific articles published in international journals and in the proceedings of international conferences. She is also a Referee for various international journals. From 2001, she collaborated with the Institute for the Application of Calculus of National Research Council in Rome within national and international projects.
