For more than a decade, I have been actively involved in unraveling the mysteries of Phytophthora-plant interactions. I am currently working on understanding the viroid-hop plant interaction using high-throughput sequencing, mediator subunits and long non-coding RNAs. My primary research interests include plant pathogen phenotypic and molecular characterization, population genetics, transcriptome profiling of host-pathogen interactions, functional genomics, and so on.
