Anitha V P

V. P. Anitha received the master’s degree in physics from IIT Madras, Chennai, India, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India, in 1995. She started her research career as an Experimentalist in basic plasma physics and has contributed to the development of the large volume plasma device and experiments on e.m. wave propagation in plasma. She is currently a Senior Scientist with the Institute for Plasma Research, Gandhinagar, India, where she is the Division Head of the Microwave-Plasma Division. She is involved in developing a system for high-power microwave–plasma interaction. She is also a Recognized Academician with the Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai, and Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, India. Her current research interests include e.m. wave excitation/propagation in plasma and wave–plasma interactions.
