Tobias Ziegler

Tobias Ziegler worked at the Centre for Organismal Studies (COS), Universitat Heidelberg and the Service Center Rural Area (Neustadt an der Weinstraße). There, he investigated the Stilbene metabolism in Vitis vinifera, with a special focus on the enzymes used in modification and transport of resveratrol. The aim of the project was the identification and characterization of such enzymes for future grapevine resistance breeding and for biotechnological production of modified stilbenes.
