Thomas A. Cahill

Since graduating in psychology in 2018, I have worked as a lecturer in social and behavioural science and first aid for Colaiste Dhulaigh College FE (CDETB affiliated). In addition, this year I am studying full-time for a taught master's in psychological science at UCD. Studying on the clinical strand, I intend to progress into clinical or educational psychology and am actively engaged in research as part of my master's degree. In 2005, I began volunteering in pre-hospital emergency care, initially in rescue and now in ambulatory care. I am an EMT, Training and Cadet Officer within my unit, as well as a peer support worker nationally. My research interests are broad and based on the areas of psychology, education, and emergency care. My aim over the next several years is to continue refining my research skills by producing publishable research in open science platforms.
