Dr. Li’s current research interests include stochastic systems and stochastic control, distributed cooperative estimation and learning and game theory. He received the 28th “Zhang Siying” (CCDC) Outstanding Youth Paper Award in 2016, the Best Paper Award of the 7th Asian Control Conference with coauthors in 2009, and honourable mentioned as one of five finalists for Young Author Prize of the 17th IFAC Congress. He received 2009 Singapore Millennium Foundation Research Fellowship and the 2010 Australian Endeavor Research Fellowship. He was entitled Dongfang distinguished professor by Shanghai Municipality in 2012, received the Excellent Young Scholar Fund from National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2015 and was elected to the Chang Jiang Scholars Program, Ministry of Education, China, Youth Scholar in 2018. He now serves as Associate Editor of several journals including Sytems and Control Letters, SCIENCE CHINA Information Sciences, Control and Decision and Journal of Systems Science and Mathematical Sciences. He is a member of IFAC Technical Committee 1.5 on Networked Systems, a member of Technical Committee on Control and Decision of Cyber-Physical Systems, Chinese Association of Automation and a member of Technical Committee on Modeling and Simulation of Intelligent Internet of Things, Chinese Association of System Simulation. Dr. Tao Li is a Senior Member of IEEE.
