Bio
Taehoon Ko received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in industrial engineering from Seoul National University, in 2008 and 2017, respectively. He was a Research Assistant Professor of Office of Hospital Information, Seoul National University Hospital. He is currently a Research Assistant Professor in medical informatics with the College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea. He also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Intelligent Medical Data Center, Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, a flagship hospital of Catholic Medical Center, South Korea. His research interests include machine learning algorithms for multimodal biomedical data with high cardinality variables and imbalanced class and their application to clinical field, such as intensive care units and health checkup centers.
