My prime focus is to study the impact of lightning and its induced phenomena on lower ionosphere; I study response of lower ionospheric/upper magnetospheric variabilities during lightning by using the VLF signal/ PC anomalies. I also developed a D region model by which one can create a huge database of ionospheric reflection parameters and regenerate the VLF amplitude signal for a quiet day. I study in both space and ground based observations during any terrestrial and extraterrestrial events.
