I have been interested in molecular radiation responses of unusually radioresistant higher eukaryotic organisms such as insects. Besides, I have major interest in experimental radiation oncology, especially in delineating the role of cellular adhesion in response to therapeutics, and exploiting latter's potential for improving therapeutics. Recently we have also started studies for improving radiation biodosimetry techniques and tools, with an emphasis on radiation-responsive biomarkers.
