Steven Engelen

Steven Engelen is a Ph. D. candidate at the Delft University of Technology. His research focuses on the OLFAR space telescope, in particular, the space system's engineering aspect of swarms of nanosatellites. He obtained his M. Sc. degree in aerospace engineering at the same university, on the topic of radio-pulsar-based navigation and has been quite active in design, development, and testing of (chemical) rocket engines. He also performed studies on the electric propulsion for nanosatellites and has a background in plasma physics. His interests lie mostly in the design of (sub-) systems for (nano-) satellites, electronic circuits, as well as overall mission design.
