Steven A. Toms

Steven A. Toms received the M. D. degree from Brown University, Providence, RI, in 1989, and the M. P. H. degree from the School of Public Health and Hygiene, The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, in 1992. He completed his residency training in preventive medicine at The Johns Hopkins University Hospital and in neurological surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 1992 and 1998, respectively. Until recently, he was an Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery and Otoloaryngology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is currently with Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland. His clinical expertise is in neuro-oncology and his research interests are in the area of therapeutics and diagnostics for glioblastoma multiforme.
