Stefan Wesemann

Stefan Wesemann received the Diploma degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in information systems engineering, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree (Dr.-Ing.) in telecommunications, in 2014, from Dresden University of Technology, Dresden, Germany. From 2007 to 2010, he was a Senior Engineer in Signalion GmbH (now National Instruments), mainly focusing on signal processing algorithms for the 4G physical layer. In 2014, he joined Nokia Bell Labs, Stuttgart, Germany, as a core team member of the FutureCell Project, where he is responsible for the signal processing and proof-of-concept design. In 2016, he joined the Next Generation Wireless Systems Department, where he works on advanced channel estimation and precoding techniques for 5G massive MIMO systems. His research interests include applied estimation theory, multiantenna signal processing for cellular systems, and massive MIMO channel measurements and characterization.
