Srini Tridandapani

Srini Tridandapani (srinit@yahoo.com) is a professor and the vice chair for imaging informatics in the Department of Radiology at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, Alabama, 35249, USA, as well as an adjunct professor with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, 30332, USA. Srini developed novel gating strategies for optimizing cardiac computed tomography funded by a K23 from the National Institute for Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering. Subsequently, he was funded by National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health SBIR grants to his start-up, Camerad Technologies, which is commercializing a technology to increase quality and patient safety in medical imaging.
