Our daily life is impacted by complex intelligent systems, such as AI and Big data, but not everyone understands how these systems work. This creates a disconnect: while the users of these intelligent systems are technical experts in their own domains, but they must rely on third parties to build or access such systems. In my research, I approach this by empowering the domain experts/users of such complex systems by providing an intelligent interface to elicit their domain knowledge.
