Sohail Rana

I have been providing care to children and young adults with sickle cell disease and HIV infection for more than 35 years. My current interests are clinical trials to improve quality of life with SCD and HIV and implementation research to increase use of appropriate therapy and adherence to therapy. I am passionate about studying the effects of stigma on all steps in care for HIV and SCD and to study and implement interventions to eradicate stigma and improve health outcomes and quality of life.
