Bio

Simone Sammartino received the degree in environmental science and the Ph.D. degree in marine science and engineering from the University of Naples, Naples, Italy, in 2001 and 2006, respectively, and the M.S. degree in telecommunication technology from the University of Malaga (UMA), Malaga, Spain, in 2011. He joined the Application of Information and Communications Technologies (ATIC) Research Group, UMA, in 2008 Since 2008, he has joined several research projects on music information retrieval and speech analysis. He currently works on music computing, audio signal processing, pattern recognition, and computer graphics.
