Simon Blouin

My research focuses on employing simulation techniques (density functional theory, molecular dynamics, Monte Carlo simulations) to improve the constitutive physics of white dwarf atmosphere and interior models. In conjunction with observations, I use these models to measure the age of the oldest stars of the Milky Way and the composition of planetesimals outside our Solar System.
