Siddharth K Das

Siddharth K Das currently works at the Department of Rheumatology, King George's Medical University. Siddharth does research in Rheumatology. Their current project is 'Epidemiology of rheumatic diseases in rural and urban population of Lucknow North India'. He pioneered the role of Colchicine in Osteoarthritis. Recently his group has shown that Colchicine blocks the inflammasome pathway and production of IL1b and TNF. He is currently working in area of novel drug development for Osteoarthritis. He has started an initiative of "Let's Unite for Osteoarthritis", and organized a walk for "Let's Unite for Osteoarthritis" in Pune at the 2nd Annual Conference of 'Society for Osteoarthritis Research" (SOAR) held in Pune.
