Shalabh Gupta (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in mechanical engineering from IIT Roorkee, India, in 2001, and the M.S. degrees in mechanical and electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State University, University Park, PA, USA, in 2004, 2005, and 2006, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Inaugural Program Coordinator of Robotics Engineering at UConn. He has published around 110 peer-reviewed journals and conference papers. His current research interests include distributed autonomy, cyber-physical systems, robotics, network intelligence, data analytics, information fusion, smart manufacturing, and fault diagnostics of complex systems. He is currently serving as the Speciality Chief Editor for Frontiers in Robotics and AI (Smart Sensor Networks and Autonomy) and an Associate Editor for Structural Health Monitoring international journal. He is a member of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society and ASME.
