Sébastien Talbot

My research is devoted to investigating how the functional, chemical and structural plasticity of neurons is involved in both the adaptive functions of the nervous system and in maladaptive changes that contribute to disease. Most of my work is concentrated on sensory neurons and neuroimmune interactions using a multidisciplinary approach spanning molecular and cell biology, electrophysiology, neuroanatomy, behavior, and genetics, with particular emphasis on the intersection between advances in basic science and its translation into new therapies.
