Sarah E. Michalak

Sarah E. Michalak received the B.A. degree in mathematics from Yale University, New Haven, CT, and the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in statistics from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. Since 2001, she has been with the Statistical Sciences Group, Los Alamos National Laboratory. During her tenure at the laboratory, she has led and collaborated on research focusing on the reliability and the efficient use of high-performance computing platforms, soft errors and silent data corruption, and the interaction of computer engineering, computer science, and statistics to enable real-time and near-real-time processing. She currently serves as the Lead for the Statistical Sciences Group Research, High-Performance Computing.
