He is the recipient of a Sloan Research Fellowship, and the 2023 William L. McMillan Award for outstanding contributions to condensed matter physics.
Sagar is currently interested in topics at the intersection of quantum condensed matter physics and quantum information science. Recent areas of focus include far-from-equilibrium quantum dynamics, universal properties of highly-entangled quantum matter, and quantum error-correction.
