Scott McMeekin is currently the Vice-Dean of the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment, Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, U.K. He has over 25 years of experience in research and development of opto-electronics and sensor systems with applications in communications, asset management, and environmental monitoring. His current research interests include development of instrumentation and sensor systems with a specific interest development of photonic sensors based on metamaterials and condition monitoring of energy assets.
