Ruchi Shah earned a PhD degree in Biochemistry and Systems Biology from The George Washington University, Washington, DC in 2017 where she conducted extensive research on alcohol induced liver diseases and the the molecular mechanisms involved in the development of liver fibrosis. As a postdoctoral scientist at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, she studies diabetic corneal epithelial wound healing and limbal stem cell phenotype.
