Rong Liu

Rong Liu received the M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering (PolyU) and clothing engineering from Xi'an Polytechnic University, Xi'an, China, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in textiles and clothing science and technology from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Kowloon, Hong Kong, in 2006. She is currently an Assistant Professor with the Institute of Textiles and Clothing, PolyU. Before joining the Institute of Textiles and Clothing, as an academic faculty, she worked as a Research Fellow with the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, PolyU, a Visiting Assistant Professor with the College of Textiles of North Carolina State University (USA), an R&D Manager, a Technical Designer, and an Innovation Research Project Director in textiles and apparel industrial companies. Her research interests include biofunctional textile and apparel technologies and product innovation.
