Rohit Srivastava

In my doctoral research I worked on the identification and characterization of selected medicinal plants and synthetic compounds for antidiabetic therapy and a preclinical development of antidiabetic drug. The characterized active plant constituents and synthetic compounds were studied for their antidiabetic actions, and for their potential to regulate glucose and lipid homeostasis. I have also explored the miRNA mediated alterations that might be critical to the onset and progression of T2D.
