Robert C Liu currently works in the Department of Biology, Emory University. Robert was trained in Physics and Applied Physics at Stanford and transitioned into Systems Neuroscience during a Sloan Foundation postdoctoral fellowship at UCSF. His research interests revolve around how the mammalian brain processes and learns social cues, using more ethological behavioral paradigms in mice and prairie voles. His lab's research methods include in vivo electrophysiology, computational data analyses, behavior, optogenetics and histology.
