Richard Caulfield

Richard Caulfield graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a MSci degree in Physics with Medical Applications (2015). During this time, he investigated the properties of atmospheric pressure non-thermal plasma jets and how they can be used to treat Biofilms. He then obtained a MRes degree at University College London (2016) where he has continued working and is currently pursuing a PhD in medical imaging. His project is focused on developing miniaturised imaging probes for minimally invasive fetal surgeries through a combination of technologies. This involves work with high-resolution direct write 3D printing, photoacoustics and nanocomposite materials.
