Ricardo Baldi

I am interested in wildlife ecology and conservation, focused on the relationships among herbivore and carnivore species across protected and modified landscapes in the arid Patagonia. Methods and techniques include both ground and aerial surveys, camera-traps, the use of GIS and spatially explicit models, and the implementation of conservation actions. Currently, I am working on a project promoting coexistence among native herbivore and carnivore species and sheep ranching activities in Peninsula Valdes, a World Heritage Site in the Argentine Patagonia.
