Reinhilde Dhulst

Reinhilde D’hulst received the master’s degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in power electronics from KU Leuven, Leuven, Belgium, in 2004 and 2009, respectively. Since 2009, she has been with the Energy Technology Department, Flemish Institute for Technological Research (VITO), Mol, Belgium, and EnergyVille, Genk, Belgium. She is involved in several national as well as European research projects related to Smart Grids, a.o. Linear, EvolvDSO, SmartNet, and EUSysflex. The main focus of her work is the development of smart grid solutions for electricity (distribution) grid-related issues, distribution grid modeling, simulation and optimization, and flexibility assessment and control algorithms for demand response.
