Dr. Ranjeet Kumar Mishra received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India in the year 2019 in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Mishra worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India, and University of Guelph Canada. Currently, Dr. Mishra is working as an Associate Professor in Department of Chemical Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal Udupi Karnataka, India. His current research area is focused on the production of biochar and biofuel from biomass and plastics. Also, he has rich experience in the production of biocarbon from waste biomass and plastics using slow pyrolysis, hydrothermal liquefaction of biomass and plastics, fast and slow pyrolysis of biomass and plastics, catalysts, nanotechnology, adsorption, water, and wastewater treatment, carbon sequestration, Techno-economic analysis, and life cycle assessment of carbon capture process, Development of carbon capture materials from organic materials etc. Dr. Mishra has published more than 40 peer-reviewed international journals and 05 book chapters. Dr. Mishra also won a highly cited research article from Bioresource
Technology Journal Elsevier in the year 2018. Also, Dr. Mishra is associated with many
journals related to energy, biochar, and biofuel.
