Bio
I am an NSF/CRA/CCC CI Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech, working with Moinuddin Qureshi. I am developing policies to improve the fidelity of near-term noisy Quantum Computers, focusing on digital gate-based devices. Previously, I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where I worked with Milton Halem and Tim Finin to not only devise systems for improving the performance of analog quantum computers but also tackle hard problems (namely SAT and compressive sensing) using existing quantum processors.
Over the next few years, I intend to develop novel systems to advance the utility of different types of QCs, including digital, analog, and continuous variable. Additionally, I aim to explore a wide range of opportunities in quantum intelligence (AI for quantum and vice versa). I am also excited to collaborate with colleagues in other departments to explore near-term quantum advantage. In particular, I plan to leverage my contacts at pharmaceutical companies and NASA to use quantum-AI hybrid systems for drug discovery and climate forecasting, respectively.
