Mini Raman was born in December 1963. She received the Ph.D. degree from Manglore University, Mangaluru, Karnataka, India, in 2014. She is currently the Head of the Marine Ecosystems Division, Space Applications Centre, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Ahmedabad, India. She has been working as a Senior Scientist in the field of ocean color remote sensing, ocean primary productivity, biogeochemical processes, and potential fishing zone.
